Ashley Jarrells from Ashley's 2nd chance ferret rescue and Crystal Walko from Ferrets Unlimited Rescue Services have teamed up for a combined fundraiser raffle for their rescues. All proceeds will be divided between the two organizations and will provide ongoing care and much-needed surgeries and veterinary care for the rescued ferrets.
Ticket sales will continue through Saturday, March 27, 2010. Winners will be announced Easter Sunday, April 4.
Ticket purchases can be made in the form of cash, check, or money order. Please write checks and money orders to Crystal L. Walko and mail to:

Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope so your half of the tickets can be mailed to you. (This is optional, as we will keep track of all ticket sales and fill them out for you.) Don't forget to include your name, email address and a phone number. Please inform us of which items you want your tickets to go for.
Items will be shipped to the prize winners on Monday, April 5.

Join FURS for our third annual Ferret Bowl bowling fundraiser on Sunday, May 23, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Once again, crazed ferret folk and avid and amateur bowlers will converge on Meszar's Lanes in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood to show their support for our efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and adopt companion ferrets.
A door fee of $20.00 gets you unlimited bowling, shoes, a pizza/salad/desert dinner and soft drink, and discounted cash bar.
We'll have contests, games, and raffles for every taste and interest, including the 50/50 and lottery frame raffles that have been so hugely successful at past events. We'll also have ferret and animal-themed merchandise available for purchase.
All proceeds go directly to the care of our fur kids. Over 80% of the funds we generate and donations we receive go toward vet care, with food and litter a distant second.
Come early! The lanes fill quickly!

What:
The Furry Nation will be holding a one year Anniversary celebration on April 3, 2010. This event will take place at the The Furry Nation Home at 15800 Detroit Ave. The Greater Cleveland community will have the opportunity to view wonderful vendors, both animal related and not, to enjoy the Easter weekend and the beginning of Spring in the Lakewood area. Featuring food, a visit from Q104’s well known morning DJ Rebecca Wilde, spectacular raffle prizes for stores and events all over the Cleveland area, autograph signing from national star XXXX XXXXX (we are still in negotiations), and much more, this is sure to be an event to remember. Raffle proceeds benefit All Dogʼs Heaven, a fabulous 501-c3 non-profit rescue organization located in Lakewood, OH.
